Amodat Mobile Application Gateway™
Amodat MAG is a powerful, advanced middleware server component containing Amodat's core technology for information processing, synchronization, and data security. MAG resides between the back-office enterprise server and Amodat's device-side applications, facilitating communication between the server and any current and future devices supporting TCP/IP. MAG transfers only changes in data thereby reducing data synchronization times and wireless data costs.
MAG contains the following main components:
- Application Manager - User interface focusing on wireless transmission, reliability of data transfer and administration of the mobile application, such as data parameters, user restrictions, authorizations and PDA status. Interface is based on ASP platform and can be viewed from any workstation with authorized entry.
- Synchronization Manager - Amodat protocol monitoring and controlling synchronization between the PDA and enterprise server. Provides system administrators with fully detailed synchronization and error logs.
- Security Manager - Provides data security by analyzing and monitoring every transaction. Restricts unauthorized access and views and enables remote PDA database deletion.

Amodat Mobile Desktop™ is the client-side technology providing remote data access to the mobile user
on Palm, Pocket PC, BlackBerry and Windows/XP devices.
The intuitive, user-friendly graphic interface displays a desktop-like environment with one or more mobile workforce functions integrated in one application.
Amodat Mobile Desktop™ contains the following components:
- Client Application Gateway - Software management on the client side of the transmission channel, enabling mobile employees to use applications independent of the type of wireless network connection, both in connected and disconnected environments.
- Client Applications - Amodat's vertical mobile solutions, such as Mobile CRM, Mobile Sales and Mobile Field Service, and add-on applications, such as Corporate Messaging and Reports. Client Applications are comprised of application modules.
- Application Modules - Integrated modules, such as Accounts, Contacts, Activities, Products and Documents, comprising Amodat's vertical mobile solutions.
